Syed Ahsan Ali Shah is currently a Personal Investigator at the Department of Mathematics and Experimental Sciences, University of Salamanca (USAL), Spain. He obtained his PhD in December 2019 from the College of Economics and Management at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China. Following his doctorate, he was appointed as a Research Fellow at the School of Economics and Management, Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST), China. His research interests encompass Climate Change, Sustainable Development, Environmental Economics, Decision Analysis, and Sustainable Energy. He serves as an associate editor for the journals «Weather, Climate, and Society» and «Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management» (IEAM). He has published 38 research papers in prestigious international journals and his work has been cited 2452 times. He was listed in Stanford’s 2022 ranking of the top 2% of research scientists worldwide.
